WHAT IS HARBOUR SECRETS?
Harbour Secrets is an entertainment events company that provides interactive murder mystery themed games for any celebration.
WHAT IS A MURDER MYSTERY PARTY?
Murder mystery is an interactive game where participants find themselves immersed in a criminal investigation. Over the course of an evening, players must solve ‘whodunit’ by gathering important clues and discovering the harboured secrets of each guest.
DO YOU PROVIDE A VENUE?
We do not provide a venue. Please arrange whatever venue you feel will be best for your party; we can operate in any venue.

DO YOU PROVIDE DINNER?
We do not provide dinner. Please arrange for this yourself. We are simply the entertainment.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A MURDER MYSTERY PARTY?
Expect an evening where you and friends get to dress up and be taken into a world where a mystery needs to be solved. Through conversations, accusations and clues, you will be able to solve whodunnit.

Everyone has different comfort levels on how far they wish to take things in terms of the performance and venue decoration, but we find the most successful evenings are when participants truly let go of any nerves and commit to the entertainment.
HOW LONG DOES A MURDER MYSTERY TAKE?
On average, the investigation takes 2hrs. But it depends on the timings of your event and also the participation of the guests. We can adjust as needed.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
We can cater to an unlimited number of people. Our smaller groups are for 12 people, and our larger events have been for up to 700.
WHAT IS THE PREPARATION TIME NEEDED?
Private Events: We strongly recommend 2 weeks.
Corporate Events: Please contact us as soon as possible so that we have plenty of time to prepare, especially for larger events.
CAN YOU PROVIDE EXTRA ACTORS TO JOIN?
Yes. And it can be a very good idea! Bringing in more actors is a great way to add to the ‘atmosphere’ of your party, and also they can help your guests work through the mystery so that everyone feels involved.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SELF SERVICE vs HOSTING PACKAGES?
Self Service packages allow you to run a murder mystery party by yourself. This means there will be no Harbour Secrets actor to help you host and navigate your evening. You will be the host that leads the murder mystery. We will provide you with all the information you need to do so.
Hosting packages require at least one Harbour Secrets actor to attend in order to successfully navigate your event.

HOW DO I REQUEST A CUSTOMISED MURDER MYSTERY STORY LINE?
Please email the Harbour Secrets team and let us know more about your event and the type of customised murder mystery you would like for your party. We will need at least 8 weeks notice to create a customised event, and it is dependent on the team’s availability.
DO YOU HAVE STORY LINES THAT DO NOT INVOLVE A MURDER?
Yes we do. We have story lines that investigate a theft, rather than a murder.

IS EVERY MURDER MYSTERY PARTY THE SAME?
No, we always want to make sure every experience is unique and new memroies are created each time!
We can also accommodate individual requirements per event to help make sure no two parties are the same.
